Breeder's Terms

Unfortunately Andlin and other top breeders cannot keep all of the outstanding bitches which we breed. A solution that has worked for many breeders is that we  will sometimes sell an outstanding bitch puppy on "Breeder's Terms" to special homes. There is a written agreement in which the buyer pays a certain price and takes the puppy home. The buyer is responsible for all expences of caring for the puppy. When the bitch reaches one year of age the buyer will have the bitch registered in both the buyer's and seller's names. On the bitch's 2nd or 3rd heat cycle I, George Anderson the seller, will choose a stud dog to be breed to the bitch. The buyter is responsible for any stud free and expences in whelping, BAER testing and vet checking the litter. When the litter reachs 8 weeks of age I will get first choice of a puppy. After I choose my puppy the bitch's registration is transferred solely to the buyer's name.
